Sacraments

Infant Baptism:
The parents must be registered members of the parish. Sacramental preparation sessions are held individually with the parents by appointment. Contact Deacon Miller or the parish office.

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist:
Preparation for these Sacraments ordinarily occurs in the second grade. All those preparing for these Sacraments are enrolled in the parish faith formation program. Preparation also includes family sessions at church and at home. Contact: Marie Moran – 227-5334 x 103

Confirmation:
In our parish, the age of Confirmation is at the junior year of high school, for those who were baptized before the age of discretion. Confirmation is celebrated in our parish annually. Candidates must be enrolled in our parish faith formation program for the two-year preparation period.

Marriage:
Diocesan policy requires a minimum time of marriage preparation. The couple is to contact the parish no less than six months before the proposed wedding. Every effort will be made to accommodate the couple’s plans. However, the date of the wedding will not be confirmed until after the initial stages of the preparation have been completed.

Hospital Visits:

If you or a family member anticipate being in the hospital and would like to receive a visit, please contact the parish office. If it is not possible to contact the office previous to your hospital stay, please call the parish office after your admission. Also, have it noted on the hospital admission form that you are Catholic, to which parish you belong, and that you request a visit. The hospital does not inform the parish that you are a patient.
